I remember how I was blown away by the folk death metal sound of Lament back in the day. They sound nothing like your typical folk metal band - they are from Mexico and their sounds reflects that fact. While this particular track is in English the spoken word part in the middle was originally in Spanish. As I do not speak Spanish, I decided to translate that part to my native language instead, adding an extra personal touch to the song.
